FINALLY up to date on Deviant art.  I skimmed though all the art I had in my feed, if you feel I missed something interesting, please send me a link.  I went through them quick.

I have been taking a lot of photos, not posting too many, I may start posting more soon.

I have had a lot of local photo shows, selling prints locally.  What do you sell your prints for? or do you sell you prints?  I have been told I sell to cheap, so I am curious what everyone else is selling theirs for.

I kept this secret for a little while, I had other great news from my pumpkin carving and the people over at the "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil" TV Show and I didn't want one bit of news to over shadow the other.

One of the editors over at PC World magazine approached me through deviant art about one of my photos, they wanted to include my photo in one of their free Windows themes called "Lonely Landscapes", they offer their readers on their website.

Since then I have had more excellent news, the same editor has chosen another one of my photos for their newest Windows Theme pack called "Autumn Leaves"

I have been very excited over this.

‎After carving up some pumpkins in tribute to one of my favourite shows "Todd and the book of Pure Evil".  This is some of the correspondence I got back from one of the show creators, Crag David Wallace, and the lead character Todd (aka Alex House).  This has really made my day to get this kind of support, please help me return the favour, check out the show, buy season one on DVD, such great people.

Todd & the Book of Pure Evil
Serious pumpkin-carving-talent alert! Nebey has once again carved a Todd character (this time Todd himself) in a pumpkin. It's almost an exact duplicate of Alex House whose head is filled with seeds...of knowledge. And pumpkin flesh. And that squishy stringy stuff.

Mike Nebesniuk Oh ohh, um I hope I wasn't supposed to keep the "seeds of knowledge", and the "stringy stuff", cause that stuff went out this morning with the trash. Lets hope one of those seeds didn't hold the knowledge on how to stop the book. haha

Over the past few years, while traveling through Thunderbay Ontario, I usually try to stop by the Terry Fox Monument, and take a few photos.  To commemorate the 30th Annual Marathon of hope run in honour of Terry Fox (and his Marathon of hope to raise money for cancer research), I have assembled my photographs of the monument into one Collage.  
At local shows, I have a few of these photographs on display, and for sale.  I tell everyone that any profits I make on the sale of the photograph I will donate to Cancer research.  I have sold one of the photographs, and I will be making that donation this year at the Annual Marathon of hope.

A few weeks ago, one of the organizers of the local Terry Fox Run here in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Canada stopped by one of the shows I was in and saw my photographs of the Terry Fox monument.  She took one of my cards and contacted me shortly afterwards.  After a few e-mails back and forth I am happy to say they loved my photograph, and I donated a frame version of the photograph for them to offer up as a door prize to the people participating at this years Marathon of hope.
