Artist's Comments

I initially carved this pumpkin for my nephew, he is 8 months old. I ended up donating it to an art teacher for her to use in her class, and then raffle off at the end of the week. No worries though, I re-carved this pumpkin again, with more characters on it the second time for my nephew.

Obviously this image represents Walt Disney's Tigger.

Nice work Mike. I have to use a pattern just to get a normal type pumpkin face. :D

Honestly, this took the least amount of time, for all the ones I did... 5 mins to gut the pumpkin, and maybe 30 mins to an hour to cut all the fine detail. I do so many in a year, I did up a regular jack-o-lantern this year, it took about 10 mins start to finish.

Hehe, honestly, these are patterns too. I often make my own paterns, but sometimes I use ones developed by others. The worse part of doing these pumpkins is, often they look awful until you light them up in a dark room. You never know what you really have till then.
